Survey The Definitive Doctor, the FINAL

The time has come to decide “The Definitive Doctor” from the surveys organized by the Survey Cool web for our readers. More than 600 participants from Spain and Latin America have decided on the two winners resulting from the semifinal that faced Tom Baker against Christopher Eccleston and David Tennant against Matt Smith.

In the survey that pitted David Tennant with Matt Smith , the Tenth Doctor has become a clear favorite of fans with 433 votes ahead of the current Time Lord with 207 (slightly less than half). Do not forget that the Eleventh Doctor will say goodbye to Doctor Who this Christmas Eve during the episode “The Time of the Doctor”.

On the other hand, The poll that matched Christopher Eccleston and Tom Baker has had to remain active for a further week, as a result of the equal votes that have emerged between these two contenders for the final. The fourth Doctor began winning the Ninth with solvency during the first measures of the campaign, nevertheless Eccleston managed to surpass the votes a few days before finishing the term of the survey. Equality between them has reached such a scale that Tom Baker managed to win with a single vote in favor, although there was never a clear favorite.

Probably not all fans who have participated in the survey know the seasons of Tom Baker thoroughly. We can not forget that Ecceston, despite being an excellent Time Lord, Has competed with a single season in the series against a Doctor who has broken record of stay in Doctor Who, with 43 episodes and serials distributed between seven seasons from 1974 to 1981, that the majority of its episodes obtained more than ten million viewers, Which has marked a whole generation of whovians, who has had his “cameo” in several cartoon series (such as the Simpsons, Futurama or Parent), and has also returned for the 50th Anniversary.

Today we face the best Classical Doctor against the best modern Doctor. May the best win!. The survey will be closed (except for a difference of eight votes or less, in which case the survey will be extended one more week) on Monday, December 30 , 2013.
